As our team returns from Prague after a successful IDUG 2023 EMEA Db2 Tech Conference, we’re looking forward to spending the next few months at home and planning for an even better 2024.

This year has flown by. And though it’s only October, we know that 2024 will be here before we know it. So far, we’ve traveled across the US and abroad attending technology conferences learning and networking with our peers in the enterprise software community. We’ve been to Detroit, Champaign, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Chattanooga, Atlanta, and the Czech Republic this year promoting Infotel products, and sharing ideas with the smartest minds in the industry.

Many of our conversations from these events have given us much to consider as we think about how to communicate our products to our audiences. This year, we’ve had eye-opening discussions about Information Governance and Records Information Management, tech layoffs, the future of mainframe computing, how to navigate conflicting business objectives when it comes to data management, and the different challenges facing digital archivists in the US and overseas.

Though it now feels like a lifetime ago, the quarantine era of the COVID-19 pandemic undoubtedly changed this industry forever, and one thing is clear: in-person events are critical when it comes to a healthy industry with well-educated professionals.

In 2023, we attended our first NAGARA and iPRES conferences, and we’re excited to continue our growth into the records information management, and digital archiving sectors. Many of the challenges facing the folks in this field are similar to the challenges we’ve seen in the mainframe sector – these are some of the most important jobs facilitating our daily lives yet are often overlooked by corporate leaders asking their staff to do more with less.

At Infotel, for decades, we’ve dedicated our careers to helping enterprise IT professionals meet the increasing demands of their jobs in an increasingly digitized world, with simplicity and ease, and this reputation has led to one of our most successful earnings reports ever.

In 2022, we announced our revenue reached $325 million, a 14% growth rate year over year, and we’re expected to continue this success as we close out 2023. In our software division alone, we’ve experienced 23.5% growth, and we know there is a large audience in need of intelligent software solutions.

Looking to 2024, we’re already getting prepared for SHARE Orlando 2024 in March, as Infotel has long provided sponsorship to the largest mainframe user group conference in the world. SHARE conferences are offering a platform for networking, learning, and exploring the latest trends in technology, and we’re already excited to hear what’s on the agenda given how rapidly the tech industry continues to evolve.

Each of these events this year has provided us with invaluable opportunities to connect with our customers, partners, and fellow technology enthusiasts. Our warm reception from peers and friends in the community has translated into insightful conversations, knowledge sharing, and the establishment of new relationships.

In addition to Orlando, you can catch the Infotel team at IDUG North America, NAGARA, ARMA InfoCon, and IDUG EMEA in 2024. Stay tuned for more!
